What are Pimples?
Pimple is a type of acne that results from blocked pores, which may be due to excess production of oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and bacteria, getting trapped in the pores of the skin.

Dark spot (pink or brown) or hyper-pigmentation results from skin damage after the inflammation subsides. The trauma to the skin by excessive sun exposure or popping pimples leads to increased production of melanin during the healing process, resulting in hyperpigmentation.
1. CLEANLINESS
To help prevent pimples, it’s important to remove excess oil, dirt, and sweat daily. Dirt is amongst one of the major causes of acne. If not treated on time, it turns into bacteria that cause pimples. It is really crucial to maintain hygiene not only yours but also around you.
- Take a bath daily and keep your skin moisturised. Ensure that you don't scrub your skin harshly while washing your acne prone area. Rubbing pimples causes scars that are difficult to treat within a short period of time.
- Always handle your skin gently with care, Keep your surroundings clean including your bed sheets, towel, clothes and other things that you use.
2. ICE CUBES
Ice can support the blood circulation to the pimples areas and remove the dirt and oil on the skin. As soon as you apply, the pimples will quickly disappear.
- Prepare an ice bag by putting some ices in a cotton towel or a piece of cloth and apply it directly to the affected areas. Hold it for about 3 to 4 minutes. Repeat the process several times to get the best results.
3. REDUCE STRESS
Stress doesn’t cause pimples, but it may make them worse. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, research has shown that when you’re stressed, your body produces more oil-stimulating hormones.

4. ALOE VERA
If you have a pimple that has flared up, and is becoming red and painful, aloe vera is a great way to treat it. Use aloe vera that is taken directly from the plant, for maximum results. Aloe vera has anti-bacterial properties that are effective at treating and reducing redness. It also speeds up the recovery of a pimple. If you suffer from boils or cysts, it will effectively treat them because of its anti-fungal traits. Aloe vera is an astringent that helps remove excess oil from a pimple. It is also helpful at lightening any scars caused by acne, it also relieves the skin of blemishes and aids in healing wounds faster without leaving marks. if applied daily.
- Cut the aloe leaf and scoop out the transparent, fleshy part with a spoon. Apply the aloe vera gel on your face, focusing on the affected area. Leave it on overnight. Rinse it off in the morning and repeat every day until the lesions heal.
5. COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil is an antibacterial oil that does not cause any harm and inflammation on the skin. It reduces scars and is effective in treating pimples. It keeps your skin nourished and soft.
